This app was designed to help children understand “where babies come from” in an interactive, wholesome, and fun way.
It is thoughtful, age-appropriate and it answers many questions children may have about this topic—in a "just enough" way.
Meg Kapil, MA, CCC is a certified counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She offers individual and group sessions and works with children, adolescents, and adults. She approaches counselling in a holistic manner including consideration of psychological, biological, environmental, family and interpersonal factors that shape a person's experience. Her collaborative approach values the personal insight and knowledge each person contributes to this process.
Stephen Roberts, MA, RCC is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. He offers individual and group sessions and works with children, adolescents, adults and families. Stephen uses a blend of person-centered, cognitive-behavioural and Christian therapeutic approaches. This is a third career for Stephen who previously was a commissioned officer in the RCN and upon his retirement from the service, worked as a mining engineering consultant. Stephen has a PhD and Master's degree from UBC (in areas relating to mining engineering), an MA from Liberty University (Marriage and Family Counselling) and a BA from Queen's University (Political Science). Stephen has been married to Dr. Jillian Roberts since 1989 and is the father of their three children.
